We return with safety precautions and procedures
Each person is required to bring this form completely filled out to any CYM/Odesa meeting, practice, activity or event.
The health and safety of our children, families and staff is our first priority. We have implemented a number of new safety measures based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that includes:
• An increased focus on disinfecting of surface areas and sanitation for all students and staff before and after starting any class.
• Face coverings are necessary & required for students. Staff will also be wearing masks & will be socially distanced.
• Health screenings prior to entry for all
• Our facilities will be marked off to maintain proper social distancing.
What to bring
Health screening form, mask, small hand sanitizer, dance shoes & a water bottle.
Everyone must fill out all registration forms & waivers including covid-19 waiver.
Parent and younger child enter together. Older child may enter alone.
Masks. Hand sanitizer will be available at door.
Instructor will collect permission slip for each child.
Child continues upstairs using back stairs to dance hall. Parents will exit building.
There will be signage placed along their route.
Hand sanitizer will also be available near dance hall entrance throughout practice.
Small groups (2 per night) using only dance hall, balcony and dance hall bathrooms
6:00 – 6:40 p.m. Group practice
6:40 – 7:00 p.m. Instructors clean dance hall, bathrooms, chairs, railings, etc.
7:00 – 7:40 p.m. Group practice
7:40 – 8:00 p.m. Instructors clean again
Cym meetings (10-15 minutes) will be held occasionally together with ODESA practice.
Seating along dance hall will be safely distanced for dancers to use while waiting.
“X” on dance floor, safely distanced, will be assigned to each dancer.
Dancer to remain on “X” during practice/CYM meeting for individual work only.
Masks will be worn during practice/CYM meeting. A “mask break” may be given to child if needed.
Dance hall restrooms available; however, please use restroom before leaving home.
When practice is over, child returns to assigned seat. Bring bottled water from home if needed.
Hand sanitizing at exit door and staggered exit from dance hall using front stairs.
Parents pick up in entrance hall. Masks.
No gathering of parents and children in entrance or dance hall.
We disclose Irish dancers will practice in the UNH dance hall using the same safety precautions and procedures. Dance hall will be cleaned when they end practice. As an added measure, CYM/ODESA instructors will clean BEFORE we begin our practice on Thursday night.
