Ukrainian National Home

Originally erected in 2014 by the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Syracuse (Ukrainian National Home) & St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, with contributions from the Syracuse Ukrainian-American Community, these flagpoles have adorned the Taras Schevchenko Monument. In April of 2021, one flag pole was destroyed by a hit and run accident and replaced shortly after. Once again it has happened! We are seeking $2250 for the erection and installation of a new flag pole as well as looking for additional funds to install a barricade or fence to protect our flag poles.
